Coordinate care for Hospice patients residing in the Hospice House facility.
Coordinate and direct the interdisciplinary team, patient, family, and facility staff.
Manage patient symptoms and assess patient and family physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Provide end-of-life education to patients, families, and facility staff.
Advocate for patients and families to ensure patient-focused care.
Exercise independent judgment consistent with professional licensure.
Discuss unusual problems or proposed deviations from guidelines with a manager or physician before being initiated.
Provide coverage for nursing staff on vacation, call-outs, or to assist with extra patient loads.

Experience in clinical specialties such as Oncology, Medical Surgical, Nutrition Support, Pediatrics, IV Therapy, Gerontology, and Home Health.
BSN degree

Experience: Two years of related nursing work experience in an acute clinical care setting.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

License & Certification:

Current licensure as an RN by the Washington State Board of Nursing
Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
Current Department of Health Food Handler’s permit issued by the State of Washington
