Job Responsibilities

Manage one or more clinical units.
Determine appropriate staffing levels to achieve organizational goals.
Participate in the development of the unit budget.
Monitor the unit’s compliance with standards.
Supervise nursing staff.

Requirements

Experience: Five (5) years of clinical nursing experience, two (2) years in a supervisory role or higher, or four (4) years in a nursing lead role with management training

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

License & Certification:

Valid license from the State of Nevada to Practice as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Trauma Nurse Core Certification (TNCC)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
