Oversee the shift operations of a single patient care department
Supervise employees directly and address problems arising during assigned shift or clinical specialty (surgery)
Collaborate with Manager and/or Clinical Service Director on clinical operations planning, directing, and evaluating
Ensure staff development and daily staff assignment of patient care
Maintain adequate equipment and supplies inventory control
Implement quality assessment and improvement strategies
Develop customer service strategies
Assist with performance evaluations
Contribute to strategic and operational plans implementation
Facilitate intra- and inter-departmental communication
Liaison with medical staff and sales representatives

Masters in Nursing (MSN) or plan to complete Master's degree
Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment and manage multiple priorities
Ability to handle stresses associated with a patient care environment

Experience: Three years acute care nursing experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
