See patients with same day appointments in a primary care clinic setting.
Provide health care and specialized health services to patients and families enrolled in Primary Care Medicine.
Coordinate care of the patient population in collaboration with all members of the health care team.
Provide outpatient medical care by taking patient history, performing physical examinations, ordering, and interpreting tests.
Make diagnoses and institute appropriate treatment programs.
Independently evaluate patients in the clinic.
Order and interpret testing and lab results, modifying the plan of care to address results.
Provide clinical expertise and direction to support patient medication management.
Maintain accurate documentation regarding patient status, evaluations, and treatments to physicians.
Streamline the patient transfer process between levels of care, including communicating specific patient needs to internal and external team members.
Perform other related duties as required to assure patient safety and satisfaction.
Participate in the development and presentation of educational experiences for patients, families, and health care professionals.

Must be licensed to see patients of ALL ages
Master's degree in nursing or bachelor's degree with completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program
Licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Current BLS or ACLS certification
Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department

1-2 years’ experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
Certification in a nursing specialty field
Certification from National Certification Corporation (NCC)
Certification from National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Associates

Experience: 1-2 years’ experience as an Advanced Practice Provider

Education: Master's degree in nursing; OR bachelor's degree with completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program
