Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift, 6:30 am-3:00pm; 2:30pm-11:00pm, 10:30pm-7:00am

Job Responsibilities

Assist patients in completing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices, and feeding.
Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures.
Insert and remove peripheral IV catheters.
Record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe patient care environment considering patients' age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Direct patient care experience
Ability to assist with ADLs
Documentation skills
Basic clinical skills related to patient care

Preferred Skills

Completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course
Experience with acute or long-term patient care

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long-term) or successful completion of related course.

Education: High school diploma or GED.
