Job Responsibilities

Assist patient in completing ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices, and with feeding and menu selection.
Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures.
Insert and remove peripheral IV catheters.
Record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Direct patient care experience
Ability to assist with activities of daily living
Understanding of age-specific care and developmental needs

Preferred Skills

Completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course
Prior experience in acute or long-term care setting

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long-term) or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Every other weekend and holiday required for Full-time and Part-time team members.
