Job Title: Patient Care Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit
Position: Under the direction of a registered nurse, responsible for direct patient care.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Minimum rate of pay: 16.29 PLUS Daily PAY
Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift, 7 pm-7 am

Job Responsibilities
- Assist patients with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and feeding/ menu selection.
- Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures.
- Insert and remove peripheral IV catheters.
- Record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and conducive patient care environment.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Direct patient care experience
- Basic life support (BLS) skills
Preferred Skills
- Successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course
- Completed nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long term)
Education: High school diploma or GED
