Job Responsibilities
- Provide mental health services in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Deliver quality clinical experiences treating adult psychopathologies.
- Work independently while being part of a psychiatric team of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.
- Receive supervision from a psychiatrist focused on training and development.
- Participate in monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and meetings.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists.
- Assist with administrative duties including scheduling and charting through a medical assistant partner.
- Utilize an integrated electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Create a work-life balance that accommodates patient needs.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- Current valid state medical license
- Experience in geriatric medicine, family medicine, or psychiatry
Preferred Skills
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry
Requirements
Experience:
Education: Masters degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
License & Certification:
- Current valid state medical license
- National certification from the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants
