Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
- Meet Standards of Care and Standards of Practice.
- Supervise assigned personnel.
- Promote collaboration with physicians and personnel of other departments.
- Provide care needed as described in department policies and procedures.
- Complete a competency skills checklist within 3 months of employment.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Ability to assess data reflective of patient status.
- Ability to interpret appropriate information needed to identify patient requirements relative to age-specific needs.
Preferred Skills
- BSN
- Six months to one-year experience in Rehabilitation Nursing.
- Current BCLS.
Requirements
Experience: Six months to one-year experience in Rehabilitation Nursing preferred
Education: Graduate from a school of nursing
License & Certification:
- RN NV License required
- BCLS
