Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily clinical operational activities of the unit to ensure quality care delivery.
- Manage patient flow and oversee the delivery of patient care, coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensure accurate documentation on daily staffing sheets and electronic staffing systems.
- Support the clinical team with resources and training, ensuring staff is equipped for quality patient care.
- Supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and development.
- Evaluate and provide feedback to staff and manage performance issues collaboratively.
- Maintain communication and trust within the team and with external customers.
- Monitor care quality and compliance with regulatory standards, making adjustments as needed.
- Build and support effective working relationships while fostering a safe work environment.
- Proactively manage customer service issues and lead service recovery strategies.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience including one year experience in pediatric nursing
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
License & Certification:
- Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license
- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current and valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 180 Days
- Current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 180 Days (ED and CCU only)
- Current and valid Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification (NICU only)
