Provide basic care to patients and assist them in their daily activities.
Administer medications to patients and record related documentation.
Watch for changes in patients and quickly report them to the nursing team.
Collect and record information vital to patients' conditions and treatment.

Certified as a Qualified Medication Assistant by the State of Indiana
Ability to follow instructions
Effective verbal and written communication

Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant
Experience in long term care

Requirements

Experience: Preferred experience in long term care

Education: Successful completion of Resident Care Assistant and Medication Assistant Training courses; Qualified Medication Assistant course and practicum

License & Certification:

Certified as a Qualified Medication Assistant by the State of Indiana
Registered with State Department of Public Instruction
