Pay: Sign On Bonus up to $15,000; Market-leading Compensation

Job Responsibilities

Examining and treating patients
Taking patients’ medical histories
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
Educating and counseling patients
Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
Performing all other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Core Skills

Excellent assessment skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
Suturing and splinting procedures

Preferred Skills

Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
Strong listening skills

Requirements

Experience: 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required; minimum of 18 months experience in applicable practice setting; adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred

Education: Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants; Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners

License & Certification:

National Certification
Active state medical licensure
