Job Responsibilities

Perform various patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Carry out patient care activities within the limits of the position.
Do not administer medications or therapy.
Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
Accomplish job duties in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Certified Nursing Assistant certification where required by state.
Current BLS certification.

Preferred Skills

Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit.

Requirements

Experience: None required, but a minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

License & Certification:

Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
Current BLS certification.
