Job Responsibilities
- Manage, direct, and supervise clinic staff in daily operations for adult and pediatric services in the outpatient setting.
- Coordinate services to maintain continuity of patient care and workflow efficiencies.
- Provide guidance, motivation and direction to assigned staff, including participating with orientation and continuing education.
- Ensure staff maintain accurate recording and tracking of essential clinical functions (i.e., Nursing QA/QI, EMR documentation, correspondence, incident reports, consents, orders/referrals, etc.).
- Collaborate with other management team leaders to assure positive patient experiences or service recovery as needed.
- Ensure efficient clinical workflows, collaborating with billing/coding related to daily clinic visits, new product licensure, and ongoing patient issues.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services on operational issues such as committee involvement, project management functions, policy and procedure, budget, resource management, communications, and QA/QI/PI planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation.
- Partner with the Director of Clinical Services to develop and achieve Center Goals that reflect the organization's mission and values.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Clinical Ladder and IHI goals as assigned.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Recent knowledge and experience in a direct patient care setting.
- 5 years of progressive clinical management experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Requirements
Experience: 5 years of progressive clinical management experience.
Education: GED or High School diploma required; BSN required.
License & Certification:
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
