Job Title: CNA - Senior Certified Nursing Assistant- FT - Evenings - Augusta
Position: Caregiver in long term care
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.50, may qualify for a sign-on bonus of $5000

Job Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
- Deliver age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs of residents per care plan
- Assists residents with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
- Obtain and record vital signs, provide psychosocial support, and other personal care to residents
- Assists residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
- Completes food preparation and dining tasks while ensuring a positive dining experience for residents
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate changes in residents' conditions and care concerns to the charge nurse
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents
- Support wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to participate
- May participate in departmental and organization committees and task forces as needed
- Responsible for documenting and leading restorative nursing programs when applicable
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Experience in long-term care
- Ability to provide resident-centered care
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control policies
Preferred Skills
- Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
- Completion of restorative nursing training within 6 months
- Ongoing education credits and competency testing
Requirements
Experience: Preferred two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Education: High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
License & Certification:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
Schedule:
- Full time, 40 hours per week, evening shifts
