Job Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high-quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care for acute and chronic renal failure patients and their families.
Meets the educational and informational needs of patients and families and advocates for their needs.
Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered.
Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality in accordance with regulatory standards and practice guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Life Support Certifications relevant to the unit's patient population

Requirements

Experience: 1-2 years preferred

Education: Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred for all direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013.

License & Certification:

Licensed RN - MO
Registered Nurse Multistate License - Missouri
RN Compact license for states besides KS and MO
