Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to facilities in the absence of a permanent Director of Nursing.
- Plan, organize, direct, supervise and evaluate all nursing services provided in the center.
- Ensure nursing department compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Implement Center nursing core programs.
- Maintain records and reports concerning resident care.
- Oversee the orientation and training of nursing services personnel.
- Manage the Nursing department within budget.
- Follow all Center policies and procedures.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of assignment
- Demonstrated success in Nursing leadership position for at least 3 years
- Financial and management skills
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and extensive overnight travel
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
- Demonstrated leadership competency
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Experience: At least 3 years of demonstrated success in Nursing leadership position.
Education: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of assignment.
