Job Responsibilities

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel.
In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing or eligible for temporary work permit
Basic Cardiac Life Support provider
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

Previous EPIC experience
Ability to demonstrate teamwork and autonomy in all aspects of the role
Previous ambulatory or Family Medicine Clinic experience
Previous immunization and Phlebotomy experience
