Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
- Maintain accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
- Work all areas of their unit as required.
- 3N RNs are required to work MB, NBN, and attend deliveries.
- LD RNs must work LD, WAC, LD PACU, and LD OR.
- NICU/NICU SD RNs are required to work both areas.
- All Women Service team members will float between units as needed.

Requirements
Experience: Less than one year for New Nurse Fellowship Program ONLY; 1-2 years for 1-2 years of med/surg or related experience.
Education: Associate's Degree, must have BSN within three (3) years of hire or transfer.
License & Certification:
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- NRP required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- STABLE required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Crisis Prevention Institute training within ninety (90) days and then annually for Psych Unit.
