Provides care to and related activities for designated patients using a patient/family centered approach.
Employs astute observational skills and communicates findings, changes, or problems to the RN.
Uses effective verbal and non-verbal communication styles with patients, staff, and professional colleagues.
Functions as a department team member to support patient experience goals.
Participates in the orientation of new staff, as assigned.
Performs validated technical skills based on clinical specialty and unit practice.
Utilizes technology to optimize modes of care delivery.
Completes quality control checks on designated unit equipment.
Conducts patient rounds, anticipates patient needs, and responds to patient call lights promptly.

Experience: Six months recent experience in direct provision of patient care activities.

Education: High School Diploma/GED

License & Certification:

American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days
