Shift: Monday – Friday 8 AM-5 PM / Wednesday 10 AM-7 PM

Job Responsibilities
- Perform practical nursing services allowed by the NC Board of Nursing under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
- Document patient history using structured guidelines, policies, and forms.
- Assist patients with the completion of self-histories or self-assessment questionnaires.
- Administer medication/immunizations as per policies and procedures.
- Make referrals and follow up with patients to ensure they maintain appointments.
- Document information on appropriate records as required.
- Track immunizations and enter data into the North Carolina Immunization Registry (NCIR).
- Obtain heights, weights, vital signs, hearing and vision screenings, and lab specimens.
- Assist medical personnel during clinical exams and procedures.
- Ensure clinics are stocked with materials and set up equipment and supplies.
- Provide educational materials and counseling on health topics.
- Respond in cases of urgent and/or emergent public health events as required.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws regarding nursing practice.
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Skills in managing multiple tasks and maintaining confidential records.
- Ability to use various computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of two years of work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited LPN program.
License & Certification:
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in NC.
- Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED).
