Job Responsibilities

Provide basic care to patients and assist them in their daily activities.
Administer medications to patients and record related documentation.
Watch for changes in patients and quickly report them to the team of nurses.
Collect and record information vital to patients’ conditions and treatment.

Required Skills

Certified in the State of Indiana
Ability to work with a dedicated team
Professional appearance and behavior

Preferred Skills

Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant
Experience in long term care preferred

Requirements

Experience: Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant; experience in long term care preferred

Education: Successful completion of Resident Care Assistant and Medication Assistant Training courses; 60 hour Qualified Medication Assistant course and 40 hour practicum

License & Certification:

Certified as a Qualified Medicine Assistant by the State of Indiana
Registered with State Department of Public Instruction
