Deliver acute hemodialysis to in-patients with chronic kidney disease and patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and transplant.
Provide patient education to patients and families regarding their treatment.
Deliver specialized, complex care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans.
Administer nephrology care across multiple therapies, including peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and apheresis.
Assess, troubleshoot, and make sound decisions for critically ill patients.
Work autonomously in a hospital setting while being part of the hospital team.
Handle on-call responsibilities 1-2 times per week and be flexible with the schedule.

1 year of recent dialysis experience in an acute setting
Ability to work a flexible schedule and mandatory overtime
Experience in assessing, troubleshooting, and making recommendations in stressful situations
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Experience: 1 year of recent dialysis experience (ending within the last 2 years)

Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) required; B.S.N or a three-year diploma may be substituted.
