Job Title: RN New Graduate Nurse-Acute and Intermediate Cardiology

Position: Nurse for Acute and Intermediate Coronary Care Unit (3 Anderson)

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: Begins at $32.23 per hour, with up to $10K relocation assistance

Shift: Rotating (7a-7:30pm; 7p-7:30am)

Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
Coordinates and delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
Attends education programs based on identified learning needs.
Assesses readiness to learn of the patient/family/caregivers.
Identifies expected patient outcomes and revises care plans as needed.
Participates in discussions with interdisciplinary team members for patient care evaluation.
Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems.
Performs bedside point of care testing as required.
Organizes and prioritizes care according to patient/family needs.
Consults with appropriate resources for complex care issues.
Develops goals to promote professional growth.
Participates in unit goals and performance improvement activities.
Recognizes data from complex situations to determine priorities for care.
Collaborates with patient/family to prepare or update the care plan.
Reads journals for applicable studies or articles for practice.

Experience: No prior experience required.

Education: Graduation from a school of professional nursing.

License & Certification:

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
