Job Title: RN Operations Support Specialist
Position: Support nurse leadership in planning, development, and execution of facility education for clinicians.

Job Responsibilities
- Support nurse leadership in planning, development, and execution of facility education for clinicians.
- Support the onboarding and orientation of newly hired registered nurses.
- Facilitate career development and effective internal clinical communications.
- Serve as a liaison between all disciplines by effectively communicating, educating, and problem solving.
- Proactively support the quality and continuity of services throughout the healthcare systems.
- Assist in resolution of systems issues and enforce facility/unit/department policy/procedures and standards of care.
- Coordinate oversight of quality, risk management, safety, and nursing standards.
- Act as a role model and resource for providing quality patient care and maintaining clinical competency.
- Collaborate with Clinical Education to coordinate and support the onboarding and precepting of newly hired nurses.
- Develop and coordinate system and facility initiatives to promote clinical career development and lateral nurse pathways.
- Lead and implement facility clinical initiatives.
- Participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.

Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Additional related education and/or experience
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Education: Associates degree in nursing.
License & Certification:
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification
Schedule:
- Weekends and holidays required
