Job Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes and directs health services for an assigned program, unit, facility, hospital or geographical area.
- Ensures that goals, objectives and work performed are consistent with standards and that quality care is provided to patients and clients.
- Selects, mentors, motivates and directs development and evaluation of staff.
- Establishes and tracks quality improvement indicators and other information concerning services and care to ensure resources are available for quality services.
- Devises health-related educational programs for professional and non-professional staff.
- Participates, consults and collaborates in the development of long-range plans for health care programs.
- Interprets and communicates agency and departmental policies and procedures.
- Develops or implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services.
- Receives, analyzes and evaluates reports and coordinates quality improvement activities.
- Develops budget estimates concerning financial requirements and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Required Skills

- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques.

- Experience in nursing management.

Requirements
Experience: Three years of professional nursing experience, one year in a supervisory capacity.
Education: Valid permanent Oklahoma RN license or an RN license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), or a bachelor's degree in nursing with two years of nursing experience, or a master's degree with one year of nursing experience.
License & Certification:
- Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
- Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
