Job Responsibilities

Evaluates the environment and makes recommendations to ensure delivery of quality service, optimal patient flow and comfort, safety, and compliance with standards.
Plans, leads, organizes, directs, and evaluates the delivery of patient care to achieve sustained outcomes.

Manages human resources functions including hiring, assignments, coaching, and performance counseling.

Preferred Skills

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Requirements

Experience: Two (2) years as a registered nurse and one (1) year leadership experience.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

License & Certification:

Current licensure as a registered nurse in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be required
Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification may be required
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) may be required
National leadership board certification through ANCC or AONL within 2 years
